Why Fees Are Structured This Way

Mediation is a professional process requiring careful screening, facilitation and expertise. The fees of this practice reflect:

Complexity of Matters

High-conflict and legally assisted mediations require significantly more skill, time, and management than standard matters.

Professional Expertise

Significant training and ongoing professional development and experience in managing sensitive family dynamics including domestic and family violence and trauma informed practice, working alongside legal practitioners, and incorporating child-focused processes.

Preparation and Responsibility

Considerable work occurs outside the mediation session itself, including preparation, ongoing risk assessment, safety planning, referrals, co-ordination with lawyers, co-ordination with child consultants and post-session follow-up.

Quality of Process

A well-structured process with high-quality resources increases the likelihood of meaningful negotiations, durable outcomes and often reduces the need for litigation.

Payment and Refund Policy

Fees are payable prior to each stage of the process

Payment is due by the due date to avoid cancellation and possible section 60I Certificates being issued (parenting only)
